Before you ask

How long does a made-to-order piece take?

Three to five weeks, depending on the timber and what else is on the bench. We give you a real date when we confirm the order, not a range.

Can I see it before I buy?

Yes. The workshop in Bhaktapur is open Sunday to Friday and there is usually a finished example of most things. Call ahead so the right person is there.

Do you deliver outside the valley?

Anywhere in Nepal. Inside the ring road we deliver ourselves and carry it in; elsewhere it goes by courier, crated, and we tell you the cost before you commit.

What does the ten-year guarantee cover?

The structure — joints, legs, tops. If it fails we collect, repair and return at no charge. It does not cover accidental damage, and it transfers if you sell the piece.

Can you make something to my measurements?

Usually. Send the dimensions and a photograph of the space and we will tell you honestly whether it is a good idea before quoting.

What if I do not like it when it arrives?

Thirty days on stock pieces, unused, and we collect. Made-to-measure cannot be returned once cutting starts, which we always say beforehand.
